Rest in peace Clive. Thoughts are with Clive's friends and family today. I first met Clive in the early 80s when he was a student. However I really got to know him in the 90s when we worked together as trade unionists and socialists in Southwark NALGO/ UNISON. That was 20 years ago but I still remember him as one of the nicest, most principled and politically astute people I had the pleasure of working with
